“We had a lovely stay at Mike's place. it was clean and cozy, beautifully decorated with a coastal nfld fun vibe. the kitchen was well stocked though small, however perfect for preparing lunches for the days outings and cooking dinner. the kids' bedrooms upstairs were large, and their beds were comfortable. even in an extreme heat wave, the house was cool enough to sleep at night between the nice windows, fan upstairs, and air conditioning downstairs. the kids loved the yard and gardens, and we all enjoyed the got tub and deck with a fire bowl. the location was super convenient, and the recommendations for nearby attractions and restaurants were amazing. thank you for accommodating our very last-minute booking.”

“We really enjoyed our stay here, it’s a great house for a big family with big living area and generously-sized bedrooms, all right across from Bannerman Park. The double reception room with a view over the park is a beautiful bright room to have a drink in. We could also walk to the bakery every morning, and also walk to Rennies Mill trail, Quidi Vidi and downtown.”

“We loved this beautiful heritage home. The history of the house alone is well worth the stay. Our hosts Mike & Flavie were a pleasure to deal with, always there if there were questions, etc. The backyard is fabulous….the lighted gazebo and the large outdoor eating table is reminiscent of a vineyard or winery outdoor wine tasting space. The location is in a historic part of town and every house on this street has a story to tell. It’s just a short walk to downtown and beautiful Bannerman Park right across the street. Beds are cozy and comfy, kitchen is well equipped and the house is super clean and well kept. All thumbs up! 😄”

“Mike’s historic home is spacious and beautifully unique! We were 2 families with young kids and had plenty of space. Walking distance to a great park (with splash pad), coffee shops, and restaurants/sights downtown St. John’s. A great homebase for exploring gorgeous Newfoundland. Mike and team were responsive and flexible to meet our needs. Thanks for a great stay!”

“Extremely beautiful place in my favorite location of St. John’s, right next to Bannerman Park and easy to walk downtown. The house was nice and cool inside (rare for this area during a heat wave) and had beautiful AND comfortable decor. We lived the place. There was a minor issue when we arrived, and we contacted the manager who was very responsive and we got someone to come fix the issue asap. He was extreme nice and helpful. I did not want to leave!”
